The Rangers must track down Bolin and identify the mysterious dead man before the suspect can escape.

Texas, including the Alamo Hotel, the town of Lone Star, and a cattle ranch

Characters: Ranger Jay Person, Sheriff James Kerfuss, Henry Bolin, Ranger Steve Clark, Mexican woman (Senyara)

Listen for: The crucial detail of the eyeglasses that reveals the victim is not who the hotel clerk thought, and the Rangers' pursuit of the cattle herds heading to the railhead.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
