What happens

A stray guide dog appears at a roadside café in West Texas, showing signs of abuse and malnutrition. Ranger Jason Pearson and the local sheriff discover the dog belongs to a blind man who went missing three days ago. They follow the dog's trail into the remote badlands toward the Mexican border, hoping to find the man alive.

Characters: Jason Pearson, Sheriff, Pete Salverson, the blind man (missing)

Listen for: The ranger and sheriff track the guide dog through harsh desert terrain, discovering clues that suggest foul play rather than an accident.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
