Characters: Sam Spade, Effie, Shalimar, Ackman McClatchy, Prime Minister Jawaral Barra, Lieutenant Dundee, Hachidurian J. Papas, Rasput Singh

Listen for: The running gag with Freddy the cat and the spinning lazy Susan; the humorous mixing of high espionage with domestic comedy; Sam's deadpan narration as he unravels the international intrigue; the final revelation that the mysterious plans everyone is after are actually from a breakfast cereal contest

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
