What happens
Alabama and the boys of the Red Horse outfit follow a partial map to a point on Roaring River, where Dawson's hidden loot is believed to be. Alabama and his party ride into the canyon while the rest of the crew wait at the top, singing songs to pass the time. Later, the watchers spot Steve Bradford and his men arriving on the far side of the river with a second map half. Bradford's party walks beneath a waterfall, and the boys suspect a cavern is hidden behind it. Dewey finds a small cave among the bushes, and the boys realise it may be a hidden entrance.
