What happens
Alabam returns to the Red Horse Ranch with the boys after riding out to recover the herd stolen by rustlers. At the ranch house, Dad Carter and his daughter Rose have begun to doubt they will ever see them again. Steve Bradford, who has been pressing Carter to sell, visits and renews his offer to take over the ranch. Carter, weighing the loss of his cattle and his home, agrees to go to town to settle the deal. Then the riders are spotted coming back over the rise with the Red Horse cattle, and the mood at the ranch changes. The episode ends with the herd returning and the question of whether Carter will still sell left open.
