What happens

Lieutenant Cameron and Officer McGrady respond to a report of trouble at a government warehouse on the waterfront, where a night watchman and a patrolman have been struck down. Their search of the building turns up the watchman's injuries and signs of a struggle, and they begin to piece together what happened from the victims' accounts. Working from a stolen cap and a witness's description of a truck, the officers trace a lead to a cold storage company. The transcript ends with the officers following that lead.

A waterfront warehouse and nearby streets in a city, at night and the following morning.

Characters: Lieutenant Cameron, Officer McGrady, Officer Brady, Officer Williams, Mac, Joe

Listen for: Pay attention to how the officers pick up small clues, such as the stolen cap's unusual size and the truck with a storm emblem, and how they follow them to the cold storage company.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
