What happens
Private investigator Philip Marlowe is hired by an elderly Spanish woman named Señora Andrabi to help her son Pedro, who has been beaten and fired from his job at the Brucher-Fugh Company warehouse. Pedro was accused of involvement in hijackings of freight shipments, though his mother insists he is innocent. Marlowe visits the warehouse to investigate and encounters the mysterious Cori Haines, a glamorous redhead in a mink coat, along with the rough warehouse manager Connor who warns him to stay out of the matter.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
