What happens
Phil Harris feels the urge to get away from home when spring arrives, and his wife Alice Faye forbids him from going. Phil enlists his friend Frankie Remley to help him escape, but Alice objects to each scheme. The plan grows more elaborate as the two men try to borrow a car and then sneak away on a fishing trip. The episode is part of The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show, which aired on NBC on March 18, 1951, with Phil Harris and Alice Faye in the leading roles.

Listen for: Phil's attempts to talk his way out of the house, Frankie's schemes to borrow a car, and Julius the delivery boy's tricks
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
