What happens

Phil Harris and Alice Faye host an Easter afternoon on The Phil Harris and Alice Faye Show, which aired on NBC on March 25, 1951, with Harris and Faye in the lead roles. Phil and Alice return from church with their children and talk with Bill and Frankie about Easter outfits and fashion. Frankie, who has come into a hundred dollars, announces he will treat Alice to dinner, and Remley and Curly decide to tag along. The group tries several restaurants in search of a suitable place to eat, with each stop bringing a new mix-up over the menu and the service.

Listen for: Frankie's offer to take Alice to dinner with his hundred dollars, and the group's visits to Pierre's and Clancy's

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
