What happens

Phil Harris rents an office to write and produce his own motion picture, a jungle adventure set in Africa. Elliott Lewis drops in and gets drawn into the scheme, while Alice Faye is asked to put up a hundred thousand dollars for the project. Phil is undeterred by her doubts and by his father's offer to join the cast. The episode is from The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show, broadcast on NBC on May 7, 1954, with Phil Harris and Alice Faye in the leading roles, and Elliott Lewis and Gale Gordon also in the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
