What happens

Phil Harris learns from his cousin Andrew Fast Horse that he is the last of the Mohicans, a claim that sends him into a comic spiral at home with his wife Alice Faye and neighbors Elliot Lewis and Walter Tettley. Harris, a boastful and vain man, begins talking and acting like a stereotyped Indian, which irritates everyone around him. The household's peace is shattered when a stranger calling himself Iron Eyes, sent by the rival Kiwanis tribe, arrives to hunt down the supposed last Mohican. Phil's friends must figure out how to get him out of the house safely. The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show is a comedy series on NBC, first aired on February 15, 1953.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
