What happens

Connie Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is left without a Thanksgiving dinner plan after her landlady Mrs. Davis buys a very small squab instead of a turkey. Connie tries to invite herself and others to a holiday meal, pursuing invitations from Mr. Boynton, Walter Denton and the Conklins, while the squab shrinks in importance. Eve Arden stars in this comedy episode of Our Miss Brooks, originally broadcast on CBS Radio on November 27, 1949. The story follows Connie's efforts to secure a dinner and the plans of the people around her as the holiday approaches.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
