What happens
Our Miss Brooks follows English teacher Connie Brooks and her friends at Madison High School as a rivalry between Walter Denton and Stretch Snodgrass grows out of a shared romantic interest. Walter and Stretch are close friends who have been inseparable for two years, but their friendship is strained when Stretch is seen at the movies with Harriet Conklin, Walter's girlfriend. The episode is part of the OTRR Our Miss Brooks Singles series and was originally broadcast on CBS Radio on May 1, 1949, starring Eve Arden, Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna. Walter challenges Stretch to a fight, and Connie is drawn into the dispute as the school takes an interest in it.
