What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, begins her Friday the 13th with a series of mishaps at home with her landlady, Mrs. Davis, who is anxious about the date. Brooks rejects superstition and prepares for the day. Her student Walter Denton and his friend Stretch Snodgrass pick her up for school, and the morning brings a snapshot for the yearbook. Principal Mr. Conklin, who has a history of unfortunate incidents with Brooks, is also being driven to school. Brooks tries to encourage biology teacher Mr. Boynton to take her swimming. Our Miss Brooks is a comedy series that aired on CBS Radio, starring Eve Arden, with Gale Gordon and Richard Crenna in the cast. This episode first aired on 1949-05-15.
