What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, faces a week of student dress-up stunts that enrage principal Mr. Conklin. Her landlady Mrs. Davis reports a missed phone call, and Brooks is driven to school by Stretch Snodgrass, who arrives with a bandana wrapped around a cut head. Walter Denton stages a protest against the ban on girls wearing slacks, appearing in a dress borrowed from Brooks. The story turns on mismatched clothing, borrowed garments and a confusing morning as Mr. Conklin grows angrier and a visit from the president of the Board of Education is announced. The episode is from the Our Miss Brooks series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on April 24, 1949, starring Eve Arden.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
