What happens

Connie Brooks, the English teacher at Madison High School, is caught up in the school board's new plan to test the emotional and mental fitness of teachers. Psychologist Mr. Gidney, hired by the head of the Board of Education, begins testing staff, and Connie and her friends worry about who will be recommended for transfer. Mr. Boynton, meanwhile, has written an animal play for the school's dramatic festival. The episode is from the CBS Radio series Our Miss Brooks, originally broadcast on 1955-03-13, with Eve Arden, Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna among the lead actors. Connie and her colleagues then devise a scheme to test the tester.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
