What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, learns that Miss Enright is leaving to nurse her ailing sister, which means Brooks must take over Enright's Red Cross first aid course. Mr. Conklin, the principal, pressures Brooks into the role, and Miss Enright then reverses her plans and stays on. Brooks and Walter Denton are shown in a comic situation, and at the principal's insistence Brooks demonstrates her first aid knowledge to Conklin and Enright at her home, with bandaging and splinting going badly wrong. The episode is part of the OTRR Our Miss Brooks Singles collection, originally broadcast on CBS Radio on June 3, 1951, starring Eve Arden, Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
