What happens
Connie Brooks, a teacher at Madison High School, needs a new winter coat and cannot afford one. Her landlady, Mrs. Davis, suggests she sell something, and a letter addressed to a Luther Sneed arrives, revealing that Connie has won a football contest under an assumed name. The prize is a gift certificate for a $75 man's suit from a local department store, and Connie plans to sell it to Mr. Conklin, the principal, who is strongly opposed to contests of any kind. The episode is part of the Our Miss Brooks series, with Eve Arden in the lead role, and was originally broadcast on CBS Radio on November 25, 1951.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
