What happens
Connie Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is invited by Mrs. Conklin to spend a weekend at the Conklins' summer cottage at Crystal Lake, with Mr. Boynton, the biology teacher Connie is fond of. Mrs. Conklin hopes the couple's happy marriage will inspire Mr. Boynton, while Connie's principal, Mr. Conklin, has warned her about being seen with Mr. Boynton, since the school board is considering her for head of the English department. Our Miss Brooks, a CBS Radio series, first aired on 1948-09-19, starring Eve Arden and Gale Gordon, with Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna also in the cast. The guests arrive at the cottage to find the Conklins' plans have turned awkward.
