What happens
Our Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High, is stuck in a difficult situation after a taxi ride leaves her unable to pay the full fare. Her cab driver, Fred Finch, refuses to leave her side until he is paid, so she tries to borrow money from her friends and colleagues while he follows her around town. Eve Arden plays Miss Brooks in this 1955 CBS Radio comedy, and Richard Crenna and Gale Gordon also appear. The episode is an installment of the Our Miss Brooks series and was first broadcast on June 19, 1955.
