What happens
Miss Brooks, a high school English teacher at Madison High, finds herself caught between her principal, Osgood Conklin, and a rebellious student body after a school day is cancelled for a storm. Conklin wants everyone at school on Saturday, and the students plan to stay home in protest. Miss Brooks tries to calm the students while Conklin's position with the Board of Education becomes precarious. Walter Denton and Stretch Snodgrass also scheme to get out of school. The episode is part of the Our Miss Brooks series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on January 29, 1956, starring Eve Arden and Gale Gordon, with Richard Crenna also in the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
