What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is asked by principal Osgood Conklin to help plan a stunt for the mayor's visit to the school. Her plans run into trouble when the band's instruments are needed for the mayor's welcome. Stretch Snodgrass, assigned to clean them, has left the instruments damaged. Miss Brooks and Mr. Boynton search for replacements, leading to a tense scramble before the mayor's car arrives. Eve Arden stars in this 1950 CBS Radio comedy from the Our Miss Brooks series, with Gale Gordon also in the cast.
