What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, learns that principal Mr. Conklin is considering ending football after a series of injuries. Her landlady Mrs. Davis, her friend Walter Denton and the student Stretch Snodgrass all have a stake in the decision. Trying to keep the principal from enforcing his ban, Miss Brooks and Walter devise a scheme involving a staged car accident. The episode is from the series Our Miss Brooks, first aired on CBS Radio on October 3, 1954, and stars Eve Arden, Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna.
