What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High, finds her new student, Mr. Lathrop, a wealthy 62-year-old businessman who has returned to finish high school. He insists on running his classes and school matters like a corporation, and he takes an interest in her. Miss Brooks and her colleagues, including Mr. Conklin and Mr. Boynton, plot to get rid of him. Eve Arden stars in this Our Miss Brooks episode, first broadcast on CBS Radio on September 26, 1954, with Gale Gordon also in the cast.
