What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, prepares for a visit from Mr. Boynton's parents, who arrive unexpectedly early. Mr. Conklin, the principal, has left a Mother's Day gift with her to keep hidden from his wife, and Walter Denton and Harriet Conklin are planning a surprise of their own. Miss Brooks and her landlady, Mrs. Davis, scramble to make the house presentable while the chairs are away being recovered. The episode is a comedy of errors and mistaken identities, with Eve Arden in the title role, from the Our Miss Brooks series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on May 14, 1950.
