What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is frustrated that her suitor, the biologist Mr. Boynton, keeps taking her to the zoo. Her landlady Mrs. Davis offers a home-cooked meal as a way to win him over. Boynton arrives for lunch with a surprise: he proposes a business partnership, an investment in real estate lots near Florence that his Uncle Harry has optioned. Meanwhile, Walter Denton drops in, and Mr. Conklin telephones with news that stirs up further confusion. Our Miss Brooks is a comedy series, and this episode is part of the OTRR Our Miss Brooks singles collection. It was originally broadcast on CBS Radio on March 25, 1951, with Eve Arden in the title role, and Gale Gordon and Jeff Chandler in the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
