What happens
Connie Brooks, a high school English teacher, wears a series of borrowed dresses from Madam Amelia's shop in exchange for a promised free suit. Her landlady Mrs. Davis, her friend Walter Denman and the principal Mr. Conklin all notice her new wardrobe, and Mr. Conklin asks her to wear one to tea at his home for the school board head, Mr. Stone. Harriet Conklin, the principal's daughter, offers a solution involving homemade copies. This is an episode of the series Our Miss Brooks, first broadcast on CBS Radio on April 1, 1951, with Eve Arden in the lead.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
