What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is pressed by a debt collection agency over an unpaid department store bill. After borrowing from colleagues and seeking help from principal Osgoode Conklin, she devises a plan to stall the agency. The school's new television set becomes the subject of the scheme as school board member Mr. Stone prepares to visit the campus. The episode is from the Our Miss Brooks series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on April 22, 1951, with Eve Arden in the lead role alongside Gale Gordon and Richard Crenna.
