What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is asked by her principal, Osgood Conklin, to find out how students feel about the cafeteria, where sales are falling. Conklin sends her to enlist the help of biology teacher Mr. Boynton, and the two are drawn into a student plan to boycott the cafeteria. Brooks tries to keep the matter quiet while she deals with her landlady's packed lunches and a former teacher, Martin Dunbar, who is visiting the school. The episode is a comedy of the 1949 CBS Radio series Our Miss Brooks, starring Eve Arden, with Gale Gordon and Jeff Chandler, and it first aired on March 13, 1949.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
