What happens

When lawyer Leonard Kelsey can't reach his reclusive client Otis Kavanaugh at his mansion, he arrives with police to discover the housekeeper Miss Drew murdered. Kavanaugh, who has locked himself away for fifteen years following a broken engagement, immediately becomes the prime suspect. Nick Carter agrees to track down the missing man before he strikes again.
