What happens

Nick Carter and his companion Patsy are traveling by train over Mad Mountain during a severe blizzard when the engine becomes stuck in heavy snow. While the crew works to signal an approaching second section, an avalanche sweeps down the mountainside. The flagman, Carney, is found dead at the bottom of a canyon ravine, and Nick suspects there is more to this accident than meets the eye.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
