What happens

Ken Thurston, known as the man called X, is asked to guard two million dollars worth of radium being flown from New York to Manila for a clinic funded by public subscription. The shipment's owner, Don Louis Roof, refuses protection, and the underworld is believed to know of the shipment. Thurston boards the charter flight with a mix of passengers, including a baron, a princess and a man named Pagan, and a fellow passenger is found dead in his seat. Thurston suspects the notorious criminal Mr. Coco may be among the passengers, and tensions mount as the plane is delayed and forced down during a desert storm.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
