What happens

Agent X, the man called X, goes to the South American capital of Parranta after reports of a coming revolution. He learns that President Hurado has been out of public view and that General Lopez is leading the opposition, and that a recording of an unknown voice may point to the real leader. X meets Dr. Stitter and the nurse Elena Vargos at the president's residence, then sets out to find the leader before the planned military maneuvers begin. Herbert Marshall plays the title role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
