What happens
Lum and Abner, the Pine Ridge storekeepers, deal with the Men's Protective Association, a group of married men organized to defend themselves against their wives. This Lum and Abner episode first aired on February 12, 1940, on the NBC, Mutual, CBS and ABC networks, with Chester Lauck, Norris Goff and Lurene Tuttle in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
