What happens

Mousey Gray, a sullen mill worker, comes into the Jot 'Em Down store and announces that he is angry at Lum Edwards. He confides that he is in love with Gussie Hogan, and he has been sent by his fellow mill men to fight Lum. Lum and Mousey begin the fight, but Lum collapses on the floor. Abner Peabody and the others gather around him, and one of them finds that Lum has been struck by lightning. Lum and Abner are the central figures of the story, which is set in the small community of Pine Ridge.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
