What happens
Lum and Abner's Lum has appointed himself Air Raid Warden for Pine Ridge and wants Mousey signed up as an airplane watcher. Abner arrives in a borrowed uniform, and Mousey, nervous about an earlier mishap with a package he delivered for Dogenes, fills out a form with Lum's help. The conversation turns to Mousey's past races and his recent misadventure, while Lum pushes ahead with the official paperwork. Dogenes then enters with a new assignment, offering to take the night watch himself.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
