What happens
Lum and Abner run a store in Pine Ridge, and Lum has decided to start a bakery there. Early one morning he proudly serves Abner a new prune bread he has invented, though Abner is reluctant to try it. Lum insists that his partner taste it first, and the two men argue over who should go first. Lum and Abner are the lead characters of this Lum and Abner episode, which aired on NBC, Mutual, CBS and ABC on December 8, 1941, starring Chester Lauck, Norris Goff and Lurene Tuttle.
