What happens
Lum and Abner plan to open a bakery in the Pine Ridge general store, and Lum sets up a cook stove right beside the front door so customers can watch him cook. Cedric is sent to fetch the stove from his place, but he forgets it and has to make a return trip. Meanwhile Grandpap Spears sits at the library table with the almanac, reading out facts to anyone nearby. The episode is part of the Lum and Abner series, first broadcast on December 4, 1941, starring Chester Lauck, Norris Goff and Lurene Tuttle.
