What happens

Lum and Abner follows the residents of Pine Ridge, a small hill-country community whose newly elected police chief, Elizabeth Peabody, is hunting three bank robbers who held up the bank at Countess Eet. Abner worries that Elizabeth has been missing since Monday and that her dog, Old Blue, has gone with her. Cedric arrives with a reward poster offering $500 for the robbers, and the men discuss the wanted pictures and the possibility of collecting the money. They begin planning a trip into the mountains to search for Elizabeth, deciding on supplies and horses for the journey.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
