What happens
Lieutenant Ben Guthrie and Sergeant Matt Grebb run a police lineup in which a young man, Jimmy Hodge, is identified as having an odd bundle of clothing from a jeweler, Roy Cameron. Guthrie learns the coat once belonged to Cameron's murdered daughter, Anita, and that the coat's wearer was attacked for it. Guthrie grows convinced that Charles Dixon, scheduled for execution the next night, may not be the killer. The episode is an audition recording of The Line Up, a 1950 radio crime drama, first aired May 27, 1950.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
