What happens
Luigi Vasco, an Italian immigrant studying English at night school, writes to his mother in Italy about a persistent cough. He buys a bottle of Sudo cough syrup advertised with a double-your-money-back guarantee, and finds the syrup does not help him. Pasquale warns him that the claim is only an advertising slogan, but Luigi insists on demanding his money back. His attempt takes him through the store, the radio station and the company's offices, where he is passed from one official to another. The episode is one of the series' comedy half-hours set in New York and built around Luigi's letters home.
New York and a drugstore, a night school class, a radio station and a company office building, with Luigi's letters to his mother in Italy.
Characters: Luigi Vasco, Pasquale, Mr. Schultz, Mr. Harrowitz, Mr. Olsen, Mr. Gucci, Ralph O'Hara, Mr. Trim

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
