What happens
Luigi Basco, a Italian-American shopkeeper, wants to borrow money for his antiques business, but first he needs a credit rating from Dun and Bradstreet. Worried about being checked by a credit investigator, he phones a man with the same name and is warned that Bradstreet agents might search him. Hutchinson, an investigator from Dun and Bradstreet, visits the shop and asks Luigi questions about his bank account, debts and business value. Luigi grows anxious as he tries to find out how his rating is being decided. The episode is part of the Life with Luigi comedy series, with J. Harold Nelson and Alan Reid in the lead roles. Its first broadcast was on October 16, 1951.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
