What happens
Luigi Vasco, a night-school student in Chicago, is asked to call the square dances at his school's big dance. He knows little about square dancing, and his friend Rosie and classmates try to help him learn the calls. Luigi writes to his mother in Italy about his American adventures, and the story follows his nervous preparations as the evening approaches. The series Life with Luigi, first broadcast on October 23, 1951, stars J. Carroll Naish as Luigi, with Alan Reed in the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
