What happens
Luigi Basco, a Chicago immigrant, plans a Saturday party with his night school friends to beat the summer heat. Most of his friends have already made weekend plans, so he struggles to fill the gathering. His neighbor Pasquale and a series of door-to-door salesmen, including a vacuum cleaner seller and a magazine seller, end up at his apartment, where Luigi serves lemonade and a lively party begins. Life with Luigi is a comedy series, and this episode aired on June 26, 1951, with J. Carrol Naish as Luigi and Alan Reed as Pasquale.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
