What happens

Chester A. Riley is a proud but overbearing father who wants his fourteen-year-old son Junior to enter the soapbox derby. When Junior insists on building his racer alone, Riley's pride is wounded and he sets out to make a point. The story is part of The Life of Riley, a comedy series starring William Bendix, with Paula Winslowe, Hans Conried and Alan Reed in the cast. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
