What happens

Riley's son Junior, captain of the John J. Boscowitz Junior High basketball team, is about to play the season's final game when Riley discovers him apparently taking money from a shifty-looking gambler. The Life of Riley, a radio comedy from 1951, stars William Bendix as Riley, with Paula Winslowe as his wife Peg. Riley is convinced his son has agreed to throw the game and rushes to the locker room, where he finds Junior upset and angry at his father for doubting him. Riley scrambles to set things right before the game begins.

A junior high school in the town of Boscowitz, during the final basketball game of the season, with scenes at the Riley home and the locker room.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
