What happens

Private investigator George Valentine receives a cryptic letter from a mysterious woman named Sonya Belsing, who asks him to attend a party at a penthouse on the 32nd floor of an office building, hinting at danger and murder. George and his assistant Claire climb the stairs to the top floor, where they meet Eric Simms, the building's general manager, and discover that the party is actually just a small gathering of lonely people rather than the grand event they expected.

An office building in the city, primarily on the 31st and 32nd floors, late at night.

Characters: George Valentine, Claire, Sonya Belsing, Mrs. Belsing, Vivian Hargrove, Eric Simms, Rockman

Listen for: A mysterious woman's warning about murder and danger, and the strange circumstances surrounding a penthouse party that turns out to be much smaller than advertised.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
