What happens
Private investigator George Valentine is hired by Ike Mannis, owner of the Starlight Pier amusement zone, to investigate a series of sabotage incidents. Two accidents involving the Ferris wheel and tunnel of love ride have occurred on consecutive Fridays, each carefully tampered with by someone knowledgeable about carnival machinery, threatening to ruin Mannis's business as customers stay away in fear.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
