What happens
George Valentine is hired by a magazine editor to investigate the mysterious Fairweather mansion at 37 Ashton Street, where a man named Ansel Fairweather hanged himself ten years ago. The two Binks brothers who live there have remained isolated in the gloomy house ever since, never leaving and allowing no visitors inside. When George manages to enter the house posing as a fire inspector, he encounters the eccentric brothers, their business manager Merton, and a young woman named Janet, only to discover mysterious shadows of nooses appearing on the walls.
The Fairweather mansion at 37 Ashton Street, a gloomy, sparsely furnished house with shuttered windows that has been sealed off from the outside world for ten years.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
