What happens

George Valentine is hired by Vivian Newcomer, who claims a mysterious little man with thick glasses is stalking her, appearing everywhere she goes and sending threatening notes. George discovers the man is Harry Stearner, whose wife died in a fire at one of Newcomer's apartment buildings in the River Flats, and that several more fires have since broken out in the same dilapidated buildings. As George investigates whether Stearner is responsible for both the harassment and the arsons, he begins to suspect a darker purpose behind the fires than simple revenge.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
